Contents of the AI-Native Foundations training
The course provides a well-founded overview of a rapidly developing AI world without being overwhelming. Instead of a battle of slides, the focus is on interaction, reflection and working on your own context. Content is deepened specifically where it has an impact and applied directly to real use cases of the participants.
Participants develop an understanding of why AI is relevant now, how modern AI systems work and where their limits lie. They learn how to critically assess results, use AI responsibly and create real added value for their own day-to-day work.
A special focus is placed on AI-native thinking: AI is not seen as an additional tool, but as an integral part of daily work - from small reliefs to the design of complex workflows. After the training, participants use AI more consciously and more frequently, use it specifically to relieve routine tasks and thus work more effectively. AI is understood and used as a sparring partner.
Learning objectives for this AI training course
You will gain solid basic knowledge of AI and technologies and develop your personal 30-60-90 day action plan. After the course you will be able to:
- classify the relevance of artificial intelligence using the EDGE model (Exponential, Disruptive, Generative, Emergent)
- explain key concepts such as AI, machine learning, generative AI and large language models in a comprehension-oriented way
- fundamentally understand how modern language models work
- realistically assess the opportunities, limitations and risks of AI (e.g. bias and context dependency)
- Using prompting in a targeted and effective way - including practical exercises, proven prompting techniques and the ability to let AI suggest and improve prompts for you
- meaningfully integrate AI into your own workflows and working methods, including initial steps towards agentic AI
- Align AI initiatives consistently with business value
- to deal with AI results in a responsible and reflective manner (governance & responsibility)
- develop a concrete implementation roadmap for the next steps

No prior technical knowledge or programming skills are required.
FAQs on AI-Native Foundations Training
No previous knowledge or programming skills are required.
- This is an official training licensed by Scaled Agile Inc.
- After the training, you can take the online exam to become an AI-Native Foundation Professional with Scaled Agile Inc.
- This training includes tips on exam-relevant topics and prepares you optimally for the exam.
- The test is optional;
- The multiple-choice test takes a maximum of one hour. It can be taken at any time up to 30 days after completion of the training.
After passing the online exam, you will receive an AI-Native Foundation Professional certificate. This is available for download afterwards.
