Description

The Strategy Backlog consists of strategic Themes. The to be implmented themes are then selected for a Strategy cycle. The Strategic themes Epics are broken down and managed in a Kanban system form definition to completion.

The Kanban system is structured according the Epic imlementation steps: analysis, From the first analysis, the decision to implement to realization of the Epic. The Kanban board supports transparency on decisions and progress monitoring off the strategic issues. The kanban system also supports management of WIP-limits.

Hints and Tips

In the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®) the Strategy Backlog is called the „Portfolio Kanban“.
